Unlocking Potential Through Cooperative Play
I understand the importance of physical education, especially for younger generations. It is crucial that kids have user-friendly opportunities to exercise and participate in non-competitive activities to reduce the obesity epidemic. However, in my many years of coaching, I've noticed a striking gap between team sports performance and individual sports performance. Generally, focus is put heavily on winning, without providing the necessary skill set to help kids be safe and succeed.
This is why I created Cooperative Beginnings: to bridge the gap and provide inclusive, user-friendly opportunities to exercise in supportive, non-competitive environments. Research shows that the kids who need to move the most are the ones who are not participating in organized sports and tend to struggle to actively participate in PE class. That’s why I specialize in using experiential activities to develop and promote cooperative, adhesive groups that can work effectively together.
I guarantee results by providing dedicated training sessions tailored to the needs of my clients. I draw on my more than 15 years of experience to provide a unique perspective and skill set to ensure that my young athletes are having fun and learning new skills. With my one-on-one consultations and services, I am committed to providing the highest level of professionalism and expertise to help young athletes reach their full potential. Whether you are a PE teacher, after-school program provider, a boys and girls club operator, a volunteer parent coach, or a pre-school director, Cooperative Beginnings can help your kids in your program move more, learn critical cooperative skills, and develop an increased enjoyment of movement.
